Q1、This fixed stand is better than gooseneck stand?
I like this stand. It’s very sturdy. No movement if I bump my desk.
Q2、Will this hold a PlayStation 5 Camera?
The PS5 HD Camera does not have a standard 1/4" screw mount (or any screw mount at all) so no, this won't hold it out of the box. You could potentially 3D print an adapter, though.
Q3、The hexagon part of the bracket won’t go into the desk clamp
Mine fits in with no problem. Make sure you have the bolt unscrewed out all the way first, of course. That makes room for the hexagonal part and then you tighten it up.
Q4、Can this be used with the cannon m50?
Yes …. as long as you can screw onto a 1/4 thread screw on the mount. If the thread on camera is a different size you can find an adapter.
Q5、How big is the hole for the desk mount?
The desk clamp can open max to 2.2 inches.
Q6、Will this hold a panasonic lumix g7?
If your panasonic lumix g7 has a 1/4" screw hole, so it can.
Q7、How does the arm connect to the clamp? Can the arm be connected to a different clamp?
Dear Customer
The camera mount is equipped with a desktop clip, which can be mounted on a maximum 2.2in desktop by referring to the user guide.
Q8、Is there a fixed mount available, or a way to secure it without the clamp on mount? my desk sits against a wall.
The clamp is a detachable piece. The camera stand arm has a hexagon shaped extension 1.5 inches long and a half an inch wide that inserts into the clamp. A hand tightened bolt secures it. If you cannot use the clamp on your desk, you could make a weighted stand with a correctly sized hole in which to insert the camera mount. Alternately, if you have some other piece of furniture close enough, you could clamp it onto that. That's what I did because my desk tends to wobble slightly which affected the camera. A third idea is to mount it to a small shelf on the wall. I hope one of these ideas will help you.
